Each session is one hour long – the first session will have time for assessment of your issue and planning your treatment. We will also do an introductory relaxation session under hypnosis.
Most issues will need a few hours of work to help you to effect positive, lasting change. As the issues you have are unique, and the treatment process is also different for each individual, the number of sessions that will be needed is difficult to predict. Much depends on your own motivation and commitment to the changes that are needed. I will work with you to achieve your goals in as few sessions as possible.
Booking a Session
Prior to booking your appointment, I like to have a chance to discuss your current difficulties and issues to get an idea of your particular needs and the aims you have for the treatment. We can do this by phone or email, but it is important that you feel we can for a good working alliance to ensure that the therapy achieves the results you deserve.
I can explain how I work, what you can expect from a session and I can answer any questions you may have. I may be able to offer information and advice at this stage that is helpful from the start.
There is no obligation to book an appointment after this initial discussion – it is important you find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable.
Appointment Booking and Practice Information
Following our initial discussion, if you decide that you would like to work with me, I will book your appointment and send you email confirming the appointment and containing all the information on the practice. I will also send you a registration form, which you should bring with you to your first appointment.
